More than two weeks subsequent to the heartbreaking passing of celebrated filmmaker Rob Reiner and his wife, photographer Michele Reiner, the entertainment community continue to honor the duo.

Quoting a Classic: Cary Elwes Remembers His Director

Sharing on Instagram, actor Cary Elwes, who was featured in Reiner's 1987 classic *The Princess Bride*, explained he just recently felt able to post publicly about his profound loss.

"Enough time has gone by that I can finally put my grief into words," posted Elwes, noting that his first meeting with Reiner made him fall in love. "When we commenced passing more hours together I realized this was someone I desired in my life."

The actor posted never-before-seen clips from the movie, adding that he cannot recall "a single day without mirth".

"The film is about love, loyalty and sacrifice. Principles that Rob valued immensely. This is one of the many reasons he was the perfect person to helm it," Elwes expressed.

He additionally honored Michele Reiner, stating: "Claiming that they were a great team would be an oversimplification. My heart still aches every time I think of you." He concluded with a line from *The Princess Bride*: "Indeed, death cannot stop true love but existence is agony without you."

Martin Scorsese Remembers a Fellow Artist

In a separate tribute, revered director Martin Scorsese shared memories of Reiner, whom he first met in the 1970s.

"Immediately, I loved spending time with Rob. We had a innate rapport for each other. He was very funny and sometimes bitingly funny, but he was never the kind of guy who would command the room," Scorsese shared.

Scorsese pointed out Reiner's supporting role in his 2013 film *The Wolf of Wall Street*, embodying the father of the main character.

"He was skilled at improv with the best. He was a master at comedy, he worked wonderfully with everyone, and he grasped the emotional dilemma of his character," Scorsese added.

Judicial Actions: Autopsy Reports Sealed

In a new development, a Los Angeles superior court judge ruled to prevent the publication of the Reiners' post-mortem findings, following a petition from the LAPD.

A judicial mandate placed a embargo on the files to prohibit the public release of "related notes, documents, files or images" pertaining to the active case.

The Medical Examiner's office had earlier stated their deaths were the consequence of murder, with a record listing the cause as "multiple sharp force injuries".

Former President Donald Trump wrote on the matter, offering provocative remarks that were met with immediate backlash by numerous commentators.

Podcaster Joe Rogan lent his perspective to the critics recently. Speaking on his show, Rogan labeled the statements as "disturbing" and suggested they demonstrated a troubling absence of compassion.

Rogan ended by remarking that an associate could have intervened when the choice to weigh in on the tragedy was made.
