The loved ones of young people unaccounted for after a devastating fire at a establishment in a Switzerland's winter destination are confronting an agonising wait for answers and requesting any details about their family members publicly.

The fire devastated the Le Constellation bar in Cans-Montana, located in the mountains of the Valais region, in the middle of the night of January 1st. Confirmed footage depict the ceiling catching alight as beverages with sparklers are raised in celebration.

Authorities have stated that it could take an extended period to formally name the victims of the disaster, which claimed the lives of numerous partygoers and injured another over a hundred. Officials stated on Friday that 113 of the injured have been identified, with work continuing to name the other six.

In the waiting period, relatives have been taking to online platforms to appeal for any news about their missing relatives who were at the bar that night.

Heartbreaking Pleas for the Missing

The fate of Swiss national Arthur Brodard, sixteen, are currently unknown, according to an appeal from his parent.
