Emerging athlete getting ready for major competition

The rising star boasts substantial social media following

The young golfer will have multiple well-known backers as she begins her professional golf debut this Thursday.

The 18-year-old athlete, who is the granddaughter of Donald Trump, obtained a sponsor's invitation to compete at the Annika competition in Florida.

The former president, someone who loves golf, operates multiple international courses and frequently competes against Kai.

"He's quite skilled. I shouldn't elaborate but we have tight competitions," she revealed.

She mentioned that her grandfather, who cannot attend, advised her: "Simply avoid anxiety."

"My grandpa basically advised me to compete and have fun," she continued.

"In my eyes, he's simply an ordinary family member. He's not attending for the tournament. He's busy with running the country, so he's quite busy."

While still amateur, the golfer has participated in just three tournaments in 2024 and has ranking 461 in AJGA rankings.

Yet she can receive tips from golf legend, who is dating her mother.

"He represents the greatest golfer in the world," Kai stated.

"And he's a superior human being. He told me to compete, have fun, and go with the flow."

The golfer will compete against several top competitors in women's golf at the Annika, including world number two Nelly Korda, England's Charley Hull, Lexi Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.

Officials stated that Kai's presence brings the sport to new audiences, particularly reaching the next generation.

The young star maintains millions of followers and has started an exclusive clothing and lifestyle brand.

Her first tee time at late afternoon GMT.
