The incident led to the partial closure of the main airport tunnel and the multi-storey parking facility.

Formal charges have been brought against two men related to a suitcase robbery where a suspected capsaicin spray led to people being hurt at London's Heathrow Airport.

Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, now face two counts of robbery and charges for using a harmful chemical, as confirmed by court officials.

This legal action stems from an investigation into an attack at the parking structure at Heathrow's Terminal Three on the weekend. Before the assault occurred, two women were robbed of their suitcases stolen after exiting a car park lift, according to law enforcement.

A three-year-old girl was one of the people hurt during the incident. Five people were taken to a medical facility and were eventually allowed to go home.

This event – which authorities stated was not part of a series and not considered a terror-related act – resulted in disruptions to rail services and the temporary blocking of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park for a short time.
